Ocean Universe 600 meters 45.5 mm Master Chronometer GMT watch
-
DetailIn order to explore the deep and dark underwater world, Omega improved its ceramic technology and launched the Seamaster Planet Ocean "Deep Sea Black" watch. This 45.5mm timepiece exquisitely combines GMT with diving functions, exuding extraordinary charm. The watch is entirely black, which means that when diving to a depth of 300 meters, the entire ocean will become pitch black in the eyes of divers. The glossy, frosted case is made from a single piece of ceramic, the same material used to make the watch’s unidirectional rotating bezel and the dial marked with new Arabic numerals. The new GMT bezel is also fixed on the dial, while the diving scale and the “OMEGA” logo on the crown are made of Liquidmetal™ technology. The white 18K gold hands are covered with white Super-LumiNova. Another innovation of Omega is the directional screw-down case back, which allows the engraved words to be in place. This is achieved by using Omega's new ceramic "Naiad lock".Other design features include a cogging pattern on the screw-down case back, a black rubber strap with contrasting stitching, and an antimicrobial paint-treated inner lining. The Seamaster Planet Ocean "Deep Sea Black" watch is waterproof to a depth of 60 atmospheres and is equipped with the Omega 8906 Coaxial Master Chronometer movement. In order to obtain Master Chronometer certification, the watch has passed eight rigorous tests set by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).Case diameter: 45.5 mmLug to lug distance: 22mmDistance between upper and lower lugs: 51.5 mmThickness: 17.4mm.Case: black ceramic caseWaterproof: 60 atmospheres (600 meters / 2000 feet)Total product weight (approx.): 138 gDial color: blackMirror: Arc-shaped double-sided anti-reflective and wear-resistant sapphire glassStrap type: rubber strapStrap color: blackStrap surface: rubberInner side of strap: rubberClasp type: Folding claspBuckle material: ceramic
